2010 Rock Rodeo

Well it’s that time again and we are gearing up for this year’s Rock Rodeo. FiveTen is continuing their role as the Platinum Sponsor and we are very excited to have them as a partner.

The basic format for the competition will be as follows:

Beginner and Mutant categories will compete on North Mt. all day.

Advanced will be competing in the East Spur and south-side of East Mt., Intermediate categories will compete on East Mt. all day in the areas consisting of "warm-up roof" to "maiden gulley/aircraft". The emphasis will be to keep everyone on rock and off vegetation, as well as having a manageable set of tours. We will have more than enough guides to ensure that all participants are able to get more than enough time on the selected problems. The specific problems that will be on the “official list” will be made available to everyone the evening prior to the comp. The reason behind this decision is that we do not want anyone getting an unfair advantage of projecting the list and getting the moves wired in advance.

2010 Rock Rodeo Extra Events & Fees

Friday Night Fiesta Dinner: $5.00

• Come feast with us on some fine Mexican Food
• Watch the North Mountain orientation video (if needed)
• We will use this time to make sure we are as organized as possible for the following morning
• Hang out with the other participants and have a great time!!!

Sunday "Climb with the Pro's" Tour

There is very limited space for these tours and spots will go fast! We are still getting commitments from the specific pros who will be providing their services, details coming soon! Tours will depart the Hueco Rock Ranch around noon and conclude around 5pm: $35 pre registration, $40 day of. (Please call)
